MURRAY COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Troopers say one woman is dead and another injured after an SUV rollover crash Sunday morning.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating the collision.

They say it happened around 7 a.m. on State Highway 7 west of Sulphur when the driver ran off the road to the right hitting a hill.

That's when troopers say their SUV went airborne and hit trees.

Troopers say 26-year-old Chenoa Imotichey of Davis was driving the car and was flown to OU Medical Center in serious condition.

They say the passenger, 25-year-old Amber Stephens of Sulphur, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead on scene.

Investigators confirm alcohol was a factor.

Troopers say neither the driver or passenger were wearing a seat belt.

A friend of both women tells us they were close friends and says both have children.

Troopers tell us investigators believe both were at Lake Arbuckle on Saturday.

They're asking anyone with information on the collision or where either woman was from Saturday evening to Sunday morning to call OHP Troop F at 580-223-8800.
