Truck crashes into Blake Shelton's Texoma home
Blake Shelton appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan Friday morning talking about a truck hitting the front of his home here on Solider Creek.
"And I just got a phone call, somebody drove the front of their truck into my lake house," Blake Shelton said in an interview on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Neighbors tell us the accident happened around 9 a.m. Thursday.
Eric Bridgman works with Marshall County water company.
He says he was out working on leak when he saw the accident happen.
"I heard a loud crash and all of a sudden I turn around, the truck was going through the gate," Bridgman said.
Bridgman says the driver did try to get into the truck to stop it, but it was too late.
"We made an effort to confront the driver but he was alright, just shook up," Bridgman said.
The truck hit the front of the house and broke a window that is currently boarded up.
Neighbors says the vehicle belonged to a worker for a pool company that was working on a construction project at Shelton's home.
"Accidents happen, it had to be his but it could've been anyone us it could have happen to," Bridgman said.
Shelton, known for his sense of humor, didn't seem too shaken up about it.
"So if this album doesn't hit, then that's bad luck," Blake said on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
"There's a truck sticking out of the front of my freaking house. I gotta sell some records," Blake said on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
Neighbors we spoke with say they did hear about the accident and are glad no one was hurt.
