MCCURTAIN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) -- Southeastern Oklahoma game wardens need your help finding the people responsible for poaching in McCurtain County.
Game Warden Mark Hannah tells us on Sunday, hunters on a lease north of Eagletown discovered four deer, two of which were decapitated and a small feral hog dumped in the middle of a camp road.
Several pounds of nails were also found scattered in the roadway.
Three of the four deer had only the back straps removed.
The game warden was able to salvage the other deer a donate the meat to a needy family.
Hannah says a disagreement between a lease member and an unknown trespasser may have led to the poaching incident.
