Two hurt in Pontotoc Co. crash

PONTOTOC COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - Two people were flown to an Oklahoma City hospital, after a wreck in Pontotoc County Wednesday night.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the crash happened just after 9 p.m. Wednesday on State Highway 3-West, just 6 miles west of Ada.

OHP says a pickup truck was disabled in the road. The driver, 62-year-old James Dollison of Ada, was trying to fix it, when another pickup truck driven by 76-year-old Darwin Hartzo of Perkins, Oklahoma rear-ended Dollison’s truck.

Both men were flown to an Oklahoma City hospital. Dollison was listed in critical condition. Hartzo was listed in serious condition.

Troopers listed "Improper Parking on Roadway" as the cause of the collision.
