TxDOT hosting public meetings for U.S. 82 plans

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) announced two public meetings to get input on proposed plans for US Highway 82.

The meetings will discuss ways to improve traffic flow and safety on US 82 between FM 1417 and the Grayson-Cooke county line.

The first meeting is scheduled for December 4 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Dillingham Intermediate School cafeteria in Sherman.

The second meeting will be held December 5 at S&S Consolidated Middle School cafeteria in Sadler from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

TxDOT says over a five-year period there were 445 crashes along the stretch of US 82 between FM 1417 and the Grayson-Cooke county line.
