Unsafe speed on icy roads blamed in Pittsburg Co. fatal crash

CANADIAN, Okla. (KXII) - Winter weather is being blamed for a collision between a pickup and a semi truck Wednesday night that killed a Eufala woman.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Karen Price, 63, was eastbound on State Highway 9A near Canadian just before 6 p.m. when she entered into a broad slide, crossed left of center, and was struck by a northbound semi.
