Vacant Durant home destroyed in fire
DURANT, Okla. (KXII) -- An unoccupied home caught fire in Durant early Saturday morning.
The house, on Florida Street and first avenue, was fully involved when firefighters arrived Saturday morning.
Officials say the house is a complete loss and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
A neighbor says she was woken up by "explosion noises" coming from the home.
Although officials couldn't confirm, neighbors believe the fire may be suspicious because this is the second time the home has caught fire this year.
