PARIS, Texas (KXII) -- A vacant home in Paris is a total loss after it caught fire Wednesday morning.

Firefighters responded to the blaze just before 10 on Southeast 12th near East Sherman street.

When they arrived the back of the home was fully engulfed in flames.

Firefighters battled the blaze for over two hours.

Fire Chief Larry Wright says the home has been vacant for five years and this is the second fire in this house.
