Wet roads listed as cause in Pottawatomie County fatal wreck

One man is dead after a crash Tuesday night in Pottawatomie County.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers, Jarate Condit, 23, of Asher was headed north on U.S. Highway 177 when his car caught fire after he crashed into a culvert.

Condit was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the wreck is still under investigation but troopers do say the roadway was wet at the time of the crash.
