What's on the ballot Tuesday in Grayson County and across Texas

SHERMAN, Tex. (KXII) - If you want to vote in this year's elections in Texas, Tuesday is your last chance.

Locally, the biggest measure on the ballot is a $20.8 million school bond in Denison. If passed. It would pay for the expansion of Mayes and Hyde Park Elementary Schools. Its passage would raise property taxes in Denison, but overall taxpayers would see a decreased bill due to the new school finance bill the Texas Legislature passed.

Sherman voters will decide whether to renew a street tax and a trio of propositions dealing with term limits and restrictions.

And all Texans will vote on ten amendments to the state constitution.
