FORT TOWSON, Okla. (KXII) - A McCurtain County woman died five days after she and two others were injured in a crash near Fort Townson.
Troopers say Jennifer Ashalintubbi, 43, died from her injuries on Feb. 24.
On Feb. 19, Ashalintubbi was a passenger in an SUV that left the roadway on U.S. Highway 70 and hit a concrete culvert.
Ashalintubbi was flown to a Plano hospital where she later died from her injuries.
The driver of the SUV and another passenger were flown to a Tulsa hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Troopers say Ashalintubbi was not wearing a seatbelt.
