(KXII) - The Chickasaw Nation is now making resources available online for parents and teachers who are homeschooling.
Lessons are aligned with Oklahoma academic standards and aimed at elementary and secondary school students.
Courses are offered in history, social studies, geography and government. Each lesson comes with its own lesson plan, reading material, discussion questions and activities.
The lessons, designed by Chickasaw historians, researchers, archaeologists and tribal elders will inform and educate about the history of the Chickasaw Nation.
