GARVIN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) - A woman arrested in connection to a Garvin Co. murder that happened almost two years ago has entered a no contest plea.

Desiree Wright and her son Tavis Wright were arrested last year, both charged with accessory to murder in the death of Allen Counts.

Deputies say Bladen wright, Desiree's son, was charged with murder for shooting his cousin, Counts, in the head with a shotgun.

Bladen wright's trial is set for January.

They believe Desiree Wright tried to cover up the crime, telling deputies her sons and friends were cleaning up the garage and swept bullets into the fire when one exploded - killing Counts.

Court records show Desiree Wright's sentencing is set for Jan. 7.
