Area players named all-state by the OCA

Several area football players were named All-State by the Oklahoma Coaches Association.

Plainview star receiver Blake Nowell was named all-state by the OCA. He helped get Plainview all the way to the state finals and will play at TCU next year.

Ringling tight end Coty Scott makes it on the all-state team along with his teammate, Ethan Johnson, who makes all-state as a linebacker. Those two led the Blue Devils to a state title.

Kingston offensive lineman Caleb Yeager was named all-state by the OCA.

Stratford running back Gus Smith makes it along with Broken Bow's Stephen Young.
