Atterberry steps down at SOSU, takes over at Arkansas Tech

Bo Atterberry has stepped down as the head coach at Southeastern to take over at Great American Conference rival Arkansas Tech.

Atterberry has been the head coach at Southeastern for five years. He has had winning seasons in Durant. The Storm went 6-5 last season and finished 7-4 in each of the two prior seasons. He went 33-23 over his five years with Southeastern.

Atterberry steps into a program now that has had good facilities, but have been uable to put it together on the field. The Wonder Boys went 3-8 last year.

Sources inside the Southeastern athletic program tell KXII that the search for a new coach is already underway. Atterberry will be introduced at Arkansas Tech on Monday.
