Caddo looks for school's first girls state title

The Caddo Lady Bruins have a chance to make history this weekend. They are just three wins away from winning the schools first ever state title in girls basketball.

This marks the first time since 2014 the Lady Bruins have made it to the state tournament.

"We've got several state tournament appearances in both girls and boys basketball, so this is a situation the community is familiar with, even if these girls aren't," said Caddo head coach Kolby Johnson "Everybody is excited, the know what to expect. We're glad to be back."

"It's crazy, I knew we were good enough to make it here, but it's just wild," said Caddo guard Kynsey Dixon. "We all just care a lot about each other, and about the team, so it means a lot that we're here together."

"We're all in this together, we all play together," said Caddo post Karlee Anderson. "Nobody cares about how much anybody scores, we're just all together in this."

Caddo will play Howe at Mustang at 8:30.
