The Denison Lady Jackets have started their journey in the 2019-20 volleyball season.
The Lady Jackets took the court for the first time on Thursday as they gear toward the season. Jana Kelly brings in a young roster that is long on potential.
"This morning, I was excited," libero Rylie Buttrill said. "It's my senior year. I was ready to come to my team and get things started."
"When I walked in here, I saw freshmen talking and they were having fun, and I was like, yes," setter Kenzie Clark said. "That's exactly what I want to see. It's going to be a fun season."
"Today has been a great day," head coach Jana Kelly said "We've had a great start, a great attitude, the girls are working really hard. Their workout this morning was really tough, but they stuck it out and they worked through it. So, I'm excited to see what the rest of the season is going to look like."
