Former Denison legends put on free kids clinic

Some of the very best players to ever wear the Denison Yellow Jackets uniform were at Munson Stadium putting on a free clinic for kids on Saturday.

Former Denison stars that participated include Minnesota Vikings receiver Jordan Taylor, former New England Patriots Tight End Jimmay Mundine, and former UCLA and New Orleans Saints lineman Ryan Taylor.

The camp was brought to life behind former Denison quarterback and Denison assistant coach Stanley Morrison and former Denison star Brian Lilly, who now coaches at Brentwood Academy in Tennessee.

"This is what you do it for really," Jordan Taylor said. "I wish I had more opportunities to come back and do this. It's priceless what you can give these kids, to come out and work with them."

"It's always a great opportunity when you can give back," Mundine said. "Whether it's to the unfortunate or if it's just those that want to come out and learn about football. We have something we feel like we can give back. And it's nothing but a little time."

"We're proud of where we're from," Lilly said. "We want these kids to be proud of where they're from. So I make sure I brought back some of the best Yellow Jackets that I know. A lot of people to just show these kids that there are a lot of people that care about what they do."
