Former Denison Yellow Jacket Jordan Taylor makes the Denver Broncos final roster.

As teams cut down their rosters to 53-players on Saturday, Taylor is one of six receivers the Broncos named to their roster to begin the season. The Denison native was a member of the Denver's practice squad last year and gained a lot attention due to his friendship with Peyton Manning.

Taylor is coming off a solid preseason, including a superb showing in the Broncos final preseason game against the Cardinals. He had four receptions for 109-yards and two scores.

Taylor received high praise from the Broncos' GM, John Elway.

“He should be proud,” Elway said. “He won the job for not only what he did Thursday but for what he’s done this whole off-season.”
