Howe begins Summer workouts
The Howe Bulldogs began their Summer workout program on Monday. They are following the strict guidelines passed down by the U.I.L.
To adhere by the social distancing protocol, the student-athletes alternate their arrival times, and have smaller workout groups. Stations were sanitized, and kids had to provide their own water.
Despite the new protocols, the Bulldogs wasted no time getting back to an important Summer program.
"This Summer really and truly magnifies the importance of strength and conditioning," said Howe head coach Bill Jehling. "Every year, every coach will highly encourage kids to be here, stay in shape, and not lose what you gained in the off season. But this year, with only two months to get ready for August, every day counts, every minute counts."
