Plainview begins summer workouts
Summer workouts have started up at Plainview High School.
For the first time in almost 3 months, Plainview student-athletes are back in the facilities with safety guidelines in place.
Equipment is cleaned after every group session. They are limiting the number of students in the weight room at one time, temperatures are taken at the beginning of the day and the athletes are encouraged to use hand sanitizer throughout the sessions.
"Right now I think this is the right, and appropriate thing for us to be doing," Plainview head coach Joe Price said. "I know for Plainview this is the right thing. So I feel good about it, and I feel good about us progressing through this process and getting ready to play a good football season, just like always."
