The Sherman Lady Cats started their preparations toward the volleyball season on Thursday.
The Lady Cats bring back some key players from a team that reached the playoffs last season.
Sherman brings in a new coach with Chelsea Beal leading the charge.
"I am so happy I chose to come here," Beal said. "I am really, really excited. I think we are going to have a great season. I'm really getting to know the girls. They seem like genuinely great kids and I'm excited to be here with them."
"Whenever volleyball season starts, I'm really excited," outside hitter Kylie Jackman said. "I'm a little anxious, but I know it's going to be fun. I know we're going to do really well this season."
"There's always that excitement every season, no matter how old you get," outside hitter Avery Charske said. "I'm excited for the new coach and new team. I think we can do great things this season."
