Sports 12 Rewind: Denison Yellow Jackets win 2009 State Quarterfinals

We take a look at the 2009 Denison Yellow Jackets as they advance to the state semifinals with a win over Sulphur Springs in the region finals.

Denison played the game at SMU in Dallas. Quarterback Jordan Taylor had an outstanding day with 224 yards on the ground and 190 more in the air. He would later go on to play for the Super Bowl champion Denver Broncos.

Cody White also called on the late DJ Jones, who was having a terrific season. He had 168 yards rushing, 113 yards receiving and 5 touchdowns in the game.

Denison won 49-35. They would advance to play Aledo in the state semifinals.
