Sports 12 Rewind Legends: Kendra Moore
There have been a lot of great basketball players at Ardmore, but none were more dominant than Kendra Moore.
Moore was an unbelievable talent that played both ends of the floor extremely well. She caught Sherri Coale's eye early on, and was offered a scholarship at Oklahoma.
Moore averaged 20 points per game. Her high school career was cut short due to a severe ACL injury that she suffered in the summer of 2002. It completely wiped out her senior season.
Moore's jersey is retired at Ardmore. She was the Oklahoman's player of the year for the entire state in 2002.
Moore had some great years with the Sooners. She made a 3-point shot at the buzzer to beat Baylor, in Waco, on January 21, 2006.
