On the court and on the track, it was hard to keep up with Marietta star Tanica Anderson.

Anderson was leading the way when Marietta girls basketball was at it's peak. She wasn't very big until you got on the court with her. She stood 5-4, but that didn't stop her from being an all-state basketball player, a McDonald's All-American while leading the Lady Indians to the state tournament 3 times, and the semifials twice.

Se was also an 11-time state champion in track. She won the 200 meter dash all four years and was a part of some great relay teams that helped her rack up 11 gold medals.

Anderson would later play college basketball at Midland College and James Madison University.
