The Rock Creek Lady Mustangs erased a 4-0 Binger-Oney lead to win the 2014 slow-pitch state tournament.
Rock Creek had already won a couple of state titles in the previous decade, in 2004 and 2006, but were looking to re-establish themselves as the best team in the state.
Down 4-0 in the third, Rock Creek began their comeback when Ashlynn Robinson drove in Kaitlyn Blackburn to get Rock Creek on the board.
With the game tied in the 6th, Macy Eiler would homer to give Rock Creek the lead.
The Lady Mustangs would win the state championship game by a 8-7 score. It was their first title since 2006, with coach Wade Johnson leading the way.
The Lady Mustangs would go on to win the fast-pitch state tournament the next fall as well.
