Sports 12 Rewind: TCS wins 2009 girls basketball title

The Texoma Christian School girls basketball team was a well established powerhouse in 2009, as they won their second state title in a row.

Mark Ellison had taken over as the head coach. TCS had won state the year before.

Emily Kirby scored 21 points and Ashley Miller had 14. Miller serves as a Lady Eagles coach today.

TCS beat St. Paul, 63-49. It would be their second of four titles in a row. They ended up winning 5 out of 6 and have won 7 championships overall.
