Workouts have changed for the serious student-athlete

Being a high performance athlete during the COVID-19 pandemic has it's own set of challenges.

The games have been cancelled, so have the practices and the team workouts. Now, all they can really do is workout on their own,and even with that, they have to be careful.

Several area athletes are not only dealing with the cancellation of their college season, they are also finding new ways to workout. Most are either working out on their own, going to their trainer for one-on-one workouts or very small group training sessions.

For the ones that do go on-site for their workouts, many places like C4 Sports Performance in Durant, are taking all the precautions they can. There are no more large groups. Social distancing is the norm, and of course, everything is wiped down and cleaned after every single use.
