SHERMAN, TX -- A 26-year-old man is headed to prison for his role in a car crash that killed a 17-year-old woman.
Allen Joseph Ehrhart was sentenced Monday to 15 years after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
Ehrhart admitted to driving 140-miles-per-hour before crashing his Chevrolet Caprice that had been previously used as a police vehicle.
The crash happened back in may of 2006 on Highway 82 east of Sherman.
Another passenger in that crash was permanently disabled.
Authorities say Ehrhart won't be eligible for parole until he's served at least half of that 15-year sentence.
