SHERMAN ― A Grayson County teen convicted of murder was sentenced Friday evening to 99 years in prison. 16 year old Preston Allen Quain was found guilty Thursday in the December 2007 death of 32 year old Danny Joe Rolen. Quain was tried as an adult in the trial, which lasted just 4 days.

Rolen was found on December 15, 2007 at a home in the Locust community, near Lake Texoma. Authorities said at the time that Rolen's girlfriend was considered a person of interest in the case, but no charges were ever filed. 25 year old Amber Ratliff was arrested on drug charges unrelated to Rolen's death shortly after his body was discovered.

In addition to Quain's prison sentence, a judge also ordered the 16 year old to pay a $10,000 fine.
