DENISON, TX -- An 18-year-old Denison High School senior left partially paralyzed after a accident in June returned home Thursday after spending almost two months at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Mark Bolen fell about 10 feet from an obstacle course at Parkside Baptist Church's Vacation Bible School. Now the Yellow Jacket football player is back home in Denison, walking, and ready to start his senior year in a few weeks.

Parkside Baptist Church Pastor Chet Haney says he has made a tremendous recovery, with high spirits the whole way.

Haney says Bolen will continue physical therapy over the next year, hopefully to a full recovery.
