DURANT, OK - Construction continues on the new Durant High School. Durant ISD Superintendent Jason Simeroth says the $35 million construction project is still on track, and that the school should be open to students in August of next year.
The new school will feature state of the art classrooms and facilities, which could bring more families to the area.
"It is going to be a big draw to Bryan County, and everyone is really excited about it. We are going to take a tour on Monday after our board meeting," Simeroth said.
