BONHAM, TX - The Grayson County College campus in Bonham will be closing its doors.
GCC says they will remain in the Rayburn Collegiate Center until the end of their lease in March of 2012, but the enrollment is just not large enough to pay for the cost of classes.
They will continue to offer GED, adult basic ed and small business services until end of their lease, and then hope to offer classes in Bonham High School.
Right now, they say there are only 3 full-time students from Fannin County taking advantage of the Rayburn Collegiate Center classes.
Bonham Mayor Roy Floyd says it's a sad day for Bonham to lose their only institution of higher learning in Fannin County.
