ARDMORE, Okla. -- A former college and pro football star was arrested Saturday in his hometown of Ardmore.
Ardmore Police arrested Justin Blackmon, 25, on Myall Road for driving under the influence.
Blackmon attended Plainview High School before becoming an All-American wide receiver at Oklahoma State, Blackmon entered the 2012 NFL draft after his junior year where he was taken fifth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Blackmon's career was marred by off-the-field incidents, including arrests and suspensions for repeatedly violating the league's substance abuse policy.
He hasn't played in the league since 2013, when the NFL suspended him indefinitely.
