DURANT, Okla. (KXII) -- A truck plowed into a Durant business Saturday afternoon sending one person to the hospital.
Store employees say it happened around noon at a business building near the intersection of West Main Street and South 21st Avenue.
They say a truck crashed into the building that houses U.S. Cellular Retailer and a Farmers Insurance agent.
First responders say the driver's accelerator may have gotten stuck.
One person was taken to the hospital but is expected to okay.
A worker says she was helping a customer when it happened.
"We had another associate that was actually taking a payment right in the wall that was actually got hit," said employee Taylor Rhodes. "Then a truck kind of came through the front of the building. It was really loud. There was dust flying everywhere. Our first reaction was to make sure the two person that were right beside where it came through were okay."
Store officials say they will reopen as soon as possible.
