3 freshmen enroll at Okla. St. for spring practice

Three freshmen have enrolled at
Oklahoma State for the current semester, ensuring they will be
eligible to participate in the Cowboys' spring practices.
The trio includes highly regarded quarterback prospect J.W.
Walsh of Denton, Texas. As a senior, the 6-foot-2, 190-pound Walsh
passed for more than 3,200 yards, rushed for more than 1,400 yards
and accounted for 35 touchdowns for Guyer High School.
Also joining the Cowboys are linebacker Kris Catlin of San
Antonio and offensive lineman Travis Cross of Plano, Texas. The
6-foot-1, 215-pound Catlin signed with Oklahoma State last
February. He had 99 tackles as a senior and 98 as a junior for
Madison High School.
The 6-foot-5, 270-pound Cross is considered one of the nation's
top players at his position.
