Ada Lady Cougars Looking for 5th Championship

The Ada Lady Cougars are headed back to the Big House.

Ada will continue it's quest for their fifth state title, and first since 1998, after a gutty victory over Fort Gibson last weekend allowed them to punch their ticket.

"It's just something we've always wanted, and just being able to say we won is a great feeling," said Ada post Sami Jewett.

This is Ada's first return to the tournament since 2006, and they've made it there behind a potent defense.

"Our defense is very versatile, so I think that it makes us really tough to play against," said head coach Christie Jennings.

The 5th ranked Lady Cougars will take on third ranked Anadarko at 2:00, Thursday at the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds.
