Plainview Girls Basketball coach Andy Bloodworth is leaving the Lady Indians sidelines and has accepted a job at Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD in Texas.
Bloodworth has had a very successful run while in Plainview, according to MaxPreps he's posted a 145-58 (.714) record during his eight seasons as coach. Most recently, he led the Lady Indians to a 26-2 and a trip to the State Quarterfinals.
His success at Plainview wasn't limited to the hardwood, he coached the Boys Golf team to three-straight- state titles (2013-2015), including a second place finish this year.
H.E.B. ISD is getting a familiar face back, Bloodworth coached there from 1999-2007.
