Blue Ridge Looking to Continue Historic Season

It's been a great year for the Blue Ridge Tigers.

They've managed to go 10-1 thus far this year, and after beating Rivercrest last week, locked up their first berth in the area round since 1991.

This week they'll do battle with 11-0 Crawford in Waxahachie, and though it's a tough contest for the Tigers, they're ready to prove they belong.

"Let's try to shock the state of Texas and beat Crawford," Blue Ridge Head Coach Kevin Wiggins said. "That's our goal this week. We want to shock Texas and beat a highly ranked, highly traditional football powerhouse in Crawford, Texas and we're looking forward to the opportunity."
