ECU women's golf team fares better in second round

The East Central University women’s golf team fared 19 strokes better on Tuesday than Monday and moved up one spot in the team standings, finishing 15th at the Drury Fall Shootout at the par-72 Silo Ridge Country Club.
After posting a team score of 354 on Monday, the Lady Tigers shot a 335 on Tuesday.
ECU’s Megan Dutton tied with four others for 35th place. She shot an 85 on Monday and finished five shots better with an 80 on Tuesday and was 21-over for the tournament.
Teammate Emily Wharton tied for 44th place at 23-over after rounds of 83-84. Ilissa Riley-Jaggers tied for 60th at 28-over (89-83). Lindsey Lunceford tied for 86th at 41-over (97-88) and Ashley Cardwell tied for 96th at 47-over (98-93).
California (Pa.) captured the team title with a 609, followed by host Drury (612), Augustana, S.D. (620), Concordia-St. Paul (639), Nebraska-Omaha (650), Maryville (651), Harding (652), Arkansas Tech (654) and Missouri Western State (665).
Southern Indiana finished 10th with a 668, followed by Upper Iowa (677), Lincoln (681), Truman State (683), University of Sioux Falls (684), ECU (689), Rockhurst (694), William Jewell (722) and Quincy University (773).
Dianne Luke, of California (Pa.), took top honors and finished at even-par for the tournament after rounds of 73-71. Maryville’s Kayla Eckelkamp was five shots back in second place after rounds of 75-74.
