Southeastern punter Jared Heim has been named first team All-Super Region 3 by Daktronics as announced on Wednesday.
Heim is a senior from Tomball, Texas, who was also named first team All-Great American Conference for the second-straight year following the conclusion of the regular season.
He earned the regional and conference honors after leading the conference in punting with an average of 42.6 yards per punt on the year.
He booted 11 kicks of 50-plus yards, including a school and conference record shattering 88 yard kick against Southern Nazarene which is the longest punt in the nation in division II this season. He also added 20 punts inside the 20 yard line.
Heim and the Savage Storm will be back on the field Dec. 6 at noon when they face Central Missouri in the Live United Texarkana Bowl in Texarkana, Ark.
