Lone Grove hires Owens as new head football coach

The Lone Grove Longhorns have hired Trey Owens as their new head football coach and athletic director.

Owens comes from Midlothian High School in Texas, where he was an associate head coach under former Ardmore head coach Doug Wendel.

Owens has several Southern Oklahoma ties having played high school football at Davis. He has been an assistant with Ada and Coalgate. Owens also played football at East Central University.

Owens replaces Jeremy Turner, who led Lone Grove to the state semifinals with the help of star running back Jeremy Lewis.
