Longhorns ready for madness to begin

Texas coach Rick Barnes says he doesn't feel ny extra pressure to get to the Final Four, despite not having made it that far since 2003.
The No. 4 seed Longhorns have made 13 straight NCAA tournaments
under Barnes, and they open against No. 13 seed Oakland on Friday
in Tulsa, Okla. Texas lost in the first round as a No. 8 seed to
Wake Forest last year, and the school lost in the second round the
last time it was a No. 4 seed back in 2007.
Barnes says the Longhorns' first goal each season is making the
tournament.
Texas (27-7) faces a difficult opening matchup this season
against the Summit League champion Golden Grizzlies (25-9). Oakland
is led by senior center Keith Benson and had a rugged schedule
against some of the nation's top teams.
