No. 3 Baylor women win 16th in a row, 75-58 over No. 8 Texas

Nina Davis scored 25 points and Niya Johnson had 15 points with 12 assists as No. 3 Baylor stretched its winning streak to 16 games with a 75-58 victory over No. 8 Texas on Monday night.

The Lady Bears (17-1, 6-0 Big 12) took control with a 10-0 run before halftime against a Texas team that had been 3-0 against top-10 teams this season, already with earlier wins against Stanford, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

But the Longhorns (14-3, 3-3) have lost three of their last four games overall, and suffered a big blow when leading scorer and rebounder Nneka Enemkpali injured her left knee while grabbing an offensive rebound in the first half.

Enemkpali was in obvious pain, clutching her knee and crying out after falling awkwardly to the floor with 5:44 left in the first half.
