No. 15 Baylor cruises to a win over San Diego

Quincy Acy and Anthony Jones each scored 14
points, LaceDarius Dunn added 13 and No. 15 Baylor overwhelmed San
Diego 83-50 in the opening round of the Diamond Head Classic on
Wednesday.
The Bears (8-1) had five players finish in double figures and
they blew the game open at the start as they bounced back from
their first loss of the season. Freshman Perry Jones III added 11
points and six rebounds while reserve Nolan Dennis had 10 points.
The struggles continued for the young Toreros (2-9) who missed
their first 10 3-point attempts and committed 18 turnovers. Ken
Rancifer had 10 points to lead San Diego, which was held to 33
percent shooting.
Baylor advances to face Washington State in Thursday's
semifinals. Washington State defeated Mississippi State 83-57 on
Wednesday.
