Okla. regents to consider pay raises for coaches

Three Oklahoma assistant football coaches
are set to receive pay raises.
According to the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents agenda
for Wednesday's meeting in Oklahoma City, officials are seeking pay
increases for new co-offensive coordinators Josh Heupel (HYE'-pull)
and Jay Norvell and the Sooners' newest assistant, Bruce Kittle.
If the regents approve, Heupel and Norvell each will be paid
$330,000 a year. Heupel has been making $250,000 annually while
Norvell has been making $255,000 annually.
Kittle, who had been the Sooners' on-campus recruiting
coordinator before his promotion to tight ends and tackles coach,
will be paid $240,000 annually if the regents approve.
