Southeastern Football Hosts Pair of Scrimmages

Southeastern fans will have two opportunities to check out the Savage Storm football team this spring at Paul Laird Field, the first coming on SE Student Night at 7 p.m. on April 10 and the second at 9:30 a.m. on April 12 for Friends and Family Day.

The scrimmages will feature a Blue vs. White format and will give fans the opportunity for a peek into the 2014 football season, the first under new head coach Bo Atterberry.

Both games are free to attend.

April 10 will feature several promotions aimed at both students and community fans.

The top prize to be given away is for student only and is a new television. SE students are eligible for the prize and must be present to win it.

All fans are also eligible for free t-shirts to be handed out to the first 100 fans for the event, with vouchers for shirts being handed out starting at 6:15 p.m.

There will be additional giveaways throughout the night as well as a "State of the Football Program" by Atterberry.

The final opportunity of the spring will also close out the spring season completely at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning for Friends and Family Day.

Southeastern's Student Athlete Advisory Committee will host children's games alongside the game.
