Were starting the last week of Fall 2019 with 2 Kinds of Cold. Monday a raw, wet and windy, penetrating Cold. Tuesday a very crisp, dry and breezy cold, but warm in the sun cold. Then, like flipping a light switch, Wednesday through Friday sunny to partly cloudy, mild south winds and above average highs in the upper 50s. Finally, Winter 2019 2020 officially begins Saturday evening at 10:19 pm near calm, mostly clear and mild.
Overnight, anticipated more low clouds, drizzle and mist. Temps fall into the 30s by Monday morning with a 30% chance of drizzle. Today at the Bus Spot cloudy, windy and cold, a raw day with wind chills in the 20s and a continued 30% chance of drizzle. Temperatures will struggle to reach the upper 30s and low-40s. With cold North winds 15-25 mph, wind chills will feel like 20s and 30s, all day so bundle up.
Dense Fog Advisory until 11 a.m. for Cooke, Grayson, Fannin, Lamar, Delta Counties and south including DFW. Anticipate low visibility of less than mile. Please slow down, use low beams and give extra space to all cars around you. The dense fog, mist and drizzle will lift as our next strong Cold Front blows through early this afternoon. Today when the fog clears we will become briefly partly cloudy with South winds 10-15 mph ahead the approaching deep Low & strong Cold Front. Afternoon highs will be capped in the 40s & 50s around 2 pm as the cold front blows through flipping winds to the North 10-15 mph between 10 am to 3 pm.
