Cold Rain To Continue.
Wednesday 22 January 2020
We’re tracking three separate upper level waves that will pass through Texoma skies Wednesday into Thursday. The lead wave approaches this morning and creating a large area of cold rain. This wave will have the coldest air of the three underneath it, can generate some sleet or snow over eastern Texoma for a few hours Wednesday morning, East of Ada-Atoka-Hugo.
An upper level system will continue to move across Texoma today with cold rain. The exception is early this morning east of Ada-Atoka-Hugo may see a mix of rain-sleet-snow until 9 am this morning. The main short wave and cold front will move across Texoma later tonight into early Thursday morning. Skies will give way to clear skies late on Thursday ending the rain early Thursday. A weak wave will give us a chance at scattered showers Sunday. Nice weather Monday with the next system moving in Tuesday with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.
