A frigid Friday morning, sunny Friday afternoon, clouds return for a windy weekend, Sunday rain chances look low to moderate

Chilly winds continue into the evening – its biting cold out there – the wind will ease off slowly but surely overnight. Winds are down to 5 mph or less by morning, which is a good thing because lows will range from 20 to 26 degrees. That’s about 12 degrees below the late February averages. Brrr!
Sunny skies Friday allow for temperatures to rise to near 50 with a light south breeze at around 10 mph. It will be a beautiful day!
Strong southerly flow increases clouds Saturday but it should be a dry day before scattered showers take shape on a very windy Sunday. Another batch of arctic air is poised to plunge southward next week, arriving sometime Monday night or Tuesday.
Except for the Sunday rain chance, it will generally be drier and colder than normal for this 7-Day cycle.
