Early voting begins in Oklahoma, winds down in Texas

(KXII) - Early voting began Wednesday in Oklahoma while Texans now only have three days left to cast their ballots before Tuesday’s general election.

IN OKLAHOMA:

Oklahoma’s early voting period began Wednesday and runs through Saturday, Nov. 2.

You can also vote early or on election day if you requested an absentee ballot, but you’ll be required to sign an affidavit affirming that you didn’t turn it in, the Oklahoma State Election Board said.

Early voting runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Similar to election day, you’ll be allowed to vote as long as you’re in line by the time the polls close.

A valid photo ID is required in order to vote in both states.
